We're back. (New Releases)

Hello. Hi, how are you? It's been a while, but we're back. I've been working on this post for months, so technically these releases aren't new. I don't know why, but the idea of publishing this is very scary to me. I'm scared that I forgot how to use words. I'm already an anxious person, and with everything that's going on in the world it's been even worse. I kind of just mentally shut down and haven't been able to work on anything. This is me forcing myself to finally get this post published in the hopes that this will help he me back into the rhythm of things. That being said, here are a few releases from the past few months that I think you should check out.

If You're Dreaming - Anna Burch

I think one thing that has helped keep me sane has been Anna Burch's latest album, If You're Dreaming. It's been 2 years since her debut solo album 'Quit The Curse', and now Anna Burch returns with another full length album: 'If You're Dreaming'. Something that a lot of us are struggling right now is feeling alone. One thing that Anna's songwriting does so well is does so well draw you in with open, relatable lyrics as she explores those feelings of isolation, restlessness, and desire for connection. This record is perfect for pausing, taking a deep breath, and retreating inwards.

Things - Not Kevin ft. High Sunn

If you've been following us for a while, you'll probably remember Not Kevin and High Sunn. The only thing that you can compare to this collaboration is the Dream Team from the 1992 Olympics. It's like having a team with two Michael Jordans. This is hands down one of my favorite collaborations this Summer.

Ponderosa - Hate Drugs

I first heard of Hate Drugs a few years ago through their surf rock inspired song, Never Want To Leave, and I've been a fan ever since. Created in the snowy mountains of Sierra Nevadas, in a warm cabin within the evergreen trees, the group set out to invent a sound that culminated with the growth and perseverance of their friendship. The ambient EP really showcases the bands diversity and musical ability.
